The event discussed whether new entrants could survive a heated bridging market and what impact the rise of regional lending is having on London and the South East, with Chris Scott, BDM at Octopus Property and Guy Harrington, CEO at Glenhawk offering their lender perspectives.
Brokers were also in attendance to discuss their attitudes and experiences on whether there was anything still missing from the bridging market and what challenges lenders face when building a regional team that truly understands the local market.
Brokers included Chris Oatway, director at LDNfinance, Kris Corns, operations director at Crystal Specialist Finance, Miranda Khadr, founder of Yellow Stone Finance and Pitch 4 Finance and Nathan Ellis-Calcott, director – specialist lending at Your Expert Group.
Ranjeev Kumar, partner at Watson Farley & Williams also gave a legal point of view.
