Following the success of last year’s ceremony, companies from across the specialist finance market are set to compete for 25 coveted Bridging & Commercial awards in 2019.
The event – to be held once again at the glamorous Hurlingham Club and themed on the lost city of Atlantis – will now feature categories such as ‘Editor’s Choice’, ‘Best Valuer’ and ‘Best Solicitor’.
Businesses within the property development market will also be pleased to learn that the usual ‘Development Lender of the Year’ award has now been split into two categories: those that provide loans up to £10m and lenders that offer facilities above £10m.
In addition, for the first time ever, a ‘Mezzanine Lender of the Year’ award will be up for grabs.
We have also introduced a new ‘Funding Partner of the Year’ category to recognise the leading funders that support the lenders within the industry.
Other awards introduced for 2019 include ‘Best Bridging Newcomer – Broker’ and ‘Best Bridging Newcomer – Lender’.
Online voting opens on the B&C website on 4th February and closes towards the end of April.
B&C will announce the judging panels in mid-February, with the shortlist published at the end of April.
The judges will determine the winners on 17th May, and all will be revealed on 6th June during the ceremony itself.
