Guy — who has more than 18 years of experience in business finance — has held roles at RBS, Bibby, Ultimate Finance and, most recently, Creative Capital.
Based in Birmingham, Guy will be tasked with originating and structuring funding facilities for SMEs across the West Midlands through a network of entrepreneurs, business owners, intermediaries, advisers and many others specialising in the SME and mid-corporate markets.

Commenting on his appointment, Guy said: “I’m very excited to join the Growth Street team at such an interesting time for the business and I look forward to continuing to support SMEs across the Midlands.
“Having spent my whole career to date working with SMEs in Birmingham and the Midlands, I’ve seen first-hand how high street banks have limited their appetite for SME lending, ignoring those ambitious SMEs that require finance to grow.”
