Brokers can now use the platform to directly engage with the lender.
Nick Hamilton, business development manager at Bridging Funding, said: “Brokers are often busy facing clients and our platform will enable them to directly engage with our underwriters and administrators from their mobile devices using the familiar WhatsApp app.
“This service will be particularly useful if real-time answers or even indicative lending terms are required when discussing cases with potential borrowers or when making a call is not possible or convenient.

“Furthermore, intermediaries will be able to request redemption statements, send case information and attend to other administrative matters.
“We will also be sending out new product details and exclusive offers, including bonus commission rates to brokers who are on the platform.”
Bridging Funding has also increased its broker commission rates to 2%.
Nick added: “With the market becoming tougher, we wanted to show commitment to our broker network and support them in what could be a rocky year for the property market and transaction volumes.
“We hope the increase in our commission rate will support our brokers in the service and dedication they provide their clients and, ultimately, it’s a show of gratitude and acknowledgment from us for the hard work they put in originating loan business for our organisation.”
