Shaun — who joins from Hitachi Capital UK — will be responsible for the development of the specialist bank’s block discounting customer offering, which includes its block bridging activities.
He will also play a key role in broadening its client base.

Lee Rhodes, commercial director, wholesale and structured at Aldermore, said: “I am absolutely delighted to welcome Shaun to Aldermore as our new head of block discounting at an exciting time in the bank’s journey.

Aldermore has also appointed Matthew McNeile as its new business development manager.
He joins from Equigroup, where he helped to develop the origination and partner capabilities in the IT and medical leasing businesses.

“The fresh perspectives Shaun and Matthew bring with them will help us to build upon this, helping to develop our capability further and driving the business forward.”
