Stephen joins Enra as chief operating officer after six years at Metro Bank, where he was most recently the director of business design.
He previously held a number of roles at the bank, including commercial director.
Stephen was responsible for building the challenger bank’s mortgage lending platform and asset purchase team.
In addition, West One Loans has hired Phillip Tyson from Shawbrook — where he was head of credit for residential mortgages — as its underwriting risk manager.

West One has also announced the promotions of Michael Grant to head of sales for bridging and development finance and Chris Harrison to underwriting team manager.
