Commercial lender joins mortgage club

.

One of the largest mortgage clubs in the UK has added a new mortgage provider to its lending panel.

The Scottish-based mortgage distribution club The Mortgage Alliance has added mortgage provider Aldermore to its panel of lenders.

The addition of Aldermore, the residential and buy-to-let intermediary mortgage provider, will enable TMA’s catalogue of over 4,500 brokers access to their products.

Phil Whitehouse, Head of TMA, said: “Aldermore’s entry into the market has certainly worked to freshen up the intermediary lending arena through its common sense approach to lending.

“This addition to our lending panel will offer members a greater breadth of choice for those borrowers who are being penalised by automated credit scoring systems and experienced landlords looking for additional options.”

“The flexibility of lending offered by Aldermore is a welcomed boost to the intermediary market and I’m sure that members will utilise these offerings to help clients who many not have previously had access to such deals.”

As well as enhancing their panel, The Mortgage Alliance’s new relationship with Aldermore enables the club to offer a wider range of mortgage solutions to its members. Aldermore give creditworthy borrowers who may have been denied access to funds through other channels, an alternative solution.

Charles Haresnape, Managing Director of Aldermore Residential Mortgages, added: “Aldermore is delighted to join the TMA panel where its substantial following of directly authorised advisers can benefit from our sensible underwriting without credit scoring, along with excellent service.”

The club is available to all directly authorised brokers.

The directly authorised intermediaries can access TMA’s products through the panel by registering for free on their website.

By joining, members can obtain exclusive deals which the club acquire through their strategic partnerships.
