Filmed roundtable

B&C to host filmed roundtable on the current demand for second charge bridging

Next week, Bridging & Commercial will host its fifth filmed roundtable event in association with Watson Farley & Williams.

The invitation-only roundtable — which is supported by Masthaven Bank — will be held on 23rd October at Watson Farley & Williams’ offices at 15 Appold Street, London.

The agenda will include discussions on why the market might be seeing a rising demand for second charge bridging finance and the benefits such an option can offer borrowers, whether first charge lenders are more comfortable with working with second charge bridging providers and what impact growth in this part of the market could have on the wider bridging sector.

Richard Deacon, sales director at Masthaven Bank, will be joined by Ranjeev Kumar, partner at Watson Farley & Williams.

Also in attendance will be Kris Corns, operations director at Crystal Specialist Finance; Andrew Robinson, CEO at Arc & Co; William PW Omony, property tax adviser at Proactive Consult; and Shaun Church, director at Private Finance.

The roundtable will be chaired by Bridging & Commercial’s editor Beth Fisher.

The attendees will also discuss what complexities and risks are involved in second charge bridging, and how all parties in the transaction chain can help mitigate them.

The 45-minute session will be filmed and uploaded as a 10-minute highlights reel on Bridging & Commercial in November on our brand new Roundtables page.

While this is the last filmed roundtable event of 2019, Bridging & Commercial will be continuing the series in February, April, May, September and October 2020.
