In his new role, Amir will be growing and servicing key accounts in London, helping brokers understand the specialist BTL market.
He joins from Aldermore, where he was a relationship manager for residential and BTL mortgages in London.
Amir previously held the role of national account manager at the State Bank of India, where he worked with brokers and mortgage networks to support its expansion in the UK.

“I’m really pleased to join the team at such an exciting time,” said Amir.
“I think the product range across both standard and specialist products is exciting, and I’m looking forward to working with intermediaries to show how these products can help a wide range of their clients.”
Andrew Ferguson, managing director of BTL at West One Loans — who joined in September — added that he was really pleased to have someone of Amir’s calibre join the team.
“We’ve had significant interest in our products and we’re building a good pipeline, and Amir’s appointment comes as we prepare to scale up even further.
“With more additions to the team planned for the weeks and months ahead, we are in a good position to deliver our growth plans for 2020.”
In June, West One Loans entered the first charge BTL market.
