He has over 15 years of experience in the industry, specialising in bridging loans for refurbishment and commercial mortgages for business owners and property investors.
He joins Bathgate Business Finance from Wirral Chamber of Commerce, where he was director of membership and growth.
The strategic appointment positions the West Kirby-based company for further expansion into the property sector this year.
Ben said he was looking forward to using his expertise to structure finance in order to deliver “the best possible outcome” for existing and future clients.
“I also aim to bring new ideas on raising capital for enquiries into the business and use my extensive network of contacts to grow Bathgate’s already thriving customer base,” he added.

“Having a BDM dedicated to the property sector presents a fantastic opportunity to generate new ideas and respond quickly and effectively to changes in the market.”
He added that, despite the Covid-19 crisis and its effects on the market, property offered great security for lenders.
“Lenders are still looking to lend, so now is a time to renegotiate terms, save some interest, or even raise capital for future investments.”
