He will be responsible for further developing relationships with brokers in the region, as well as helping to write new business as Octopus continues to build its presence.
Oliver has several years of experience in the property lending space having joined the specialist real estate lender and investor from Shawbrook Bank.
“The East has historically been a strong region for us, and so it was an obvious choice to promote Oliver to enable him to concentrate on the region and get to know the brokers more,” said Daniel Murray, head of sales at Octopus Real Estate.
The news follows a number of promotions and a new hire in the Octopus Real Estate Manchester office.
Steve Bowes was promoted to external business development manager covering the North, and Kayley Stelfox has been appointed as internal business development manager in the growing Manchester office.
“Recently, we have seen some diverse deals come to us from the regions and so this promotion, in addition to the recent promotions and hires in the Manchester office, is testament to our dedication to the regions,” added Daniel.
