Roma increases funding for BTL and recruits senior underwriter

Roma Finance has agreed to double its lending facility with Cambridge Building Society to grow its medium-term BTL proposition, which was launched in 2019.

This has been agreed as a result of demand from the market.

In addition, Roma has appointed Emma Barker (pictured above) as senior underwriter.

Emma joins the specialist lender from Together, where she spent the last 20 years of her career.

In her new role, she will be responsible for structuring cases to create the most lucrative solution for the customer and business.

Nick Jones, commercial director at Roma Finance, said: “On a personal note, I am delighted to welcome Emma to the team.

“She is a fantastic underwriter, creates strong relationships, and will bring a great deal of know-how to the business.

“In addition, the additional funding is fantastic news and will allow us to continue our growth with a secure partner."
