Before joining Blackfinch, Ian worked as a relationship manager at Cynergy Bank.

He has also held roles at Bank of Ireland, BDO, HSBC, and KPMG.

Prior to this, she worked as a finance assistant for TSB Bank.

She also holds a degree in accounting and finance from the University of Wolverhampton, and is part-way through studying to become a chartered accountant.

In addition to the new hires, the company has promoted John Hartigan to senior investment manager, and Nicola Mayes to investment manager.

Katie Thomson has also been promoted to fund accountant, who will be responsible for managing finances and delivering crucial management information, as well as helping to implement new processes.

David Higson, investment director at Blackfinch Property said: “As our loan book grows, so has our headcount and we’re delighted to welcome Anjella and Ian to the team.

“Ian’s experience of working in the insolvency arena and managing receivables will add unique insight to the team’s current diverse range of backgrounds.

“The Blackfinch Property team displays great enthusiasm, technical skill and a strong knowledge of the property finance market, with Anjella and Ian characterising these values also."
