Whitehall Capital names new COO

Whitehall Capital has appointed Paul Colam (pictured above) as chief operating officer, a newly created role at the company.

Paul has over 25 years of experience in the financial services sector and brings knowledge of operations and change management to the role.

He joins Whitehall Capital from Wells Fargo, where he was head of change and regulatory programme management for EMEA and APAC.

Prior to this, he held numerous senior positions at various financial companies, including Bank of Scotland, where he was head of private banking, and Citi, where he worked as head of strategy.

Anthony Bodenstein, founder and managing partner at Whitehall Capital, said: “We are at an important juncture in the firm’s evolution, with a number of exciting initiatives coming on stream.

“Paul has a demonstrable track record in organising business functions and managing process change, so is well qualified to support a growing business during a period of change and expansion.

“He is a natural business leader, with an excellent pedigree — [he is] someone capable of hitting the ground running and of making an immediate impact.

“We are delighted that he has accepted our offer, and I speak for the team when I say that we are looking forward to working with him as we move the business forward.”
