SDKA
SDKA has appointed Scot Tsang as head of operations and in-house legal.
He will take up his new position on 1st April and will be responsible for all lending operations at SDKA.
He has over 12 years of experience in property law and secured lending, and will join the lender from London-based law firm Spector Constant & Williams, where he was a partner and director.
Scot said: “Having worked with SDKA for a number of years in private practice and seeing them grow from strength to strength, I was delighted to be asked to join the team in-house; it was an easy decision to make.
“I’m excited to be part of the next phase of growth and to join the high calibre team.
“SDKA is an impressive and dynamic business, and the future looks very bright.”
Kunal Mehta, managing director at SDKA, added: “We have truly raised the bar this past year and I am absolutely thrilled that Scot has joined the team.
“Our clients and broker partners have first-hand experience of the quality with which Scot operates and of his pragmatic and commercial approach to lending.
“Scot is not only highly respected by our clients and broker partners, but his dynamism and integrity ties in perfectly with the core value of our business to provide exceptional service.”
The hire follows the lender securing a multi-million-pound funding boost from Shawbrook Bank in October to accelerate its growth plans.
