978 Bridging has appointed Alastair Gordon as a business manager.
In his new role, he will be using his experience and skills to help expedite the growth of the brokerage and the wider group.
He will also be responsible for the general management of day-to-day business operations.
Throughout his career in investment banking and asset management in the UK and abroad, Alastair’s previous roles have seen him managing high profile relationships with global banks and fund houses, launching a number of hedge funds and helping companies expand their businesses internationally.

Commenting on his appointment, Alastair said: “Joining 978 Bridging at this key moment in its growth was an opportunity not to be missed.

Redwood Bank
Redwood Bank has welcomed Mark Dobson as head of business development for the South.
In his new role, Mark will lead the existing business development team and grow its business across the southern region.
He will be actively looking to widen the bank’s broker network, while also upskilling the team in the area, helping to enhance their knowledge and understanding of deal structures and opportunities.”
He will work alongside Leon Marklew, Redwood Bank’s director of business development.
Mark has a wealth of banking experience, having worked in the industry for 21 years.
He started out working for Lehman Brothers, where he was a senior analyst.
Before joining Redwood Bank, Mark worked for NatWest, securing several different roles during his 13-year tenure, including broker business development manager.
“I am excited to join such a dynamic bank, with a reputation for excellent customer service,” said Mark.
