Leading Specialist Distributor Brightstar Financial has announced the arrival of Terry Young to their Brentwood based business.

Young has held a number of roles in specialist distribution over the past ten years, including Group Commercial Development Director at Network Data, Director of Partners at Enterprise and Head of Mortgage and Protection at Paymentshield’s Directly Authorised mortgage club. He joins Brightstar from Compliance Checking where he was Business Development Director.

Rob Jupp, Managing Director of Brightstar Financial said: “We have been looking for the right person for a while to join our team and we are confident that Terry has the right credentials to fit in perfectly. As a broker centric business it’s crucial that we attract staff who understand the needs of intermediaries fully and Terry’s experience of working with brokers for over a decade should enhance our already strong proposition.”

Young joins Brightstar six months after the company was set up by former Savills Director Rob Jupp. The specialist distributor plans to be the UK’s largest by the end of 2011 and has Tiuta PLC, Mortgage Advice Bureau and Coreco as its corporate shareholders.
