HTB names new director

Hampshire Trust Bank (HTB) has promoted Andrea Glasgow — former business development manager — (pictured above) to business development director.

In her new role, Andrea will support the bank’s sales director, Marcus Dussard, in the development of the specialist mortgages service and proposition.

She will also have responsibility for the continued development of the established business development team.

Commenting on her promotion, Andrea said: “As the specialist mortgages team continues to grow through innovation, exceptional service and with a number of exciting new initiatives about to land, it’s a fabulous time to be taking on this new role.

“I’m absolutely bursting for the market to return to a degree of normality and to be out on the road working with Marcus and our fabulous BDM team to ensure we deliver the best service for our broker partners.”

Marcus added: “Over the past few years, Andrea has been instrumental to our business development efforts.

“Those that know her will know that this a well-deserved promotion and was an easy decision to make.

“We recognise, reward and develop our own people where possible; within the last month, we have already supported five people with internal moves.

“I’m also particularly excited that 2021 will see HTB bringing new talent to the bank and the industry through our soon-to-be-launched graduate scheme: the mentoring and development of junior blood is a passion of mine and this will enable us to nurture enthusiastic new talent to our own standards.”
