Black & White Bridging recruits head of investments and capital markets

Black & White Bridging has appointed Nicholas Goss (pictured above) as head of investments and capital markets.

Reporting to commercial director Damien Druce, Nicholas will primarily focus on identifying and applying new funding solutions, raising additional capital lines, running the due diligence process, and engaging new investors for the business.

He will also assist the business in negotiating and executing special projects on an ad-hoc basis.

Nicholas joins the specialist lender from Reditum Capital, where he worked as an associate director on its real estate private equity transactions, portfolio refinancing and capital raising.

His career spans over 13 years in corporate finance, during which he held positions at Barclays Bank and Morgan Sindall Investments.

“The short-term lending market is a vibrant sector and has many attractions to potential investors,” said Nicholas.

“I want to make sure that not only do we attract inward funding, but also that expectations on both sides can be met and are in tune.

“This is an exciting move for me and I am looking forward to the challenge ahead.”

Damien added: “We have ambitions to become a major player in the bridging sector and that is why we are delighted that Nicholas has decided to join us.

“His role is a vital one to the future success of the business.

“We want to engage with new investors to give us the increased capacity to grow but also to forge long-term partnerships with funders that share the same philosophy of funding high quality business.”
