Just Mortgages hires 37 new brokers in June

Just Mortgages recruited almost 40 new brokers in June this year.

Out of the 37 new hires, 19 are graduates of the company’s most recent training academy, entering the business’s employed division from varied backgrounds, including banking and estate agency.

They will be based in the firm’s estate agency chain and have been given training to achieve their CeMAP exams and will continue to receive mentoring and guidance from Just Mortgages.

The remaining 18 brokers have joined the self-employed division of the business from more corporate organisations.

They will have the freedom of managing their own businesses, while still being provided with a support structure, which includes compliance, training and ongoing mentoring.

The latest recruitments come after a period of growth for the company, which has increased its original headcount of 105 brokers to over 560 in less than five years.

John Phillips, group operations director at Just Mortgages (pictured above), said: “Bringing new blood into the industry is both vital and extremely gratifying, especially when they are as talented as those we have seen enrol in our training academies.

“There is a growing demand from skilled brokers to find a different employment route to those they have been used to.

“Our self-employed division gives them that opportunity to take control of their careers and support them to make their business goals come to life.

“It is a key aspect to our ethos to provide brokers with options whatever route they want to take, be that employed, self-employed, telephone only, home working or even specialising in new-build, protection or wealth management.

“To see the Just Mortgages team growing, month after month, is incredibly rewarding and I look forward to welcoming many more brokers in the future.”

Just Mortgages operates throughout the UK, offering independent mortgage advice as well as a range of other financial solutions.
