Cambridge & Counties Bank rebrands

Cambridge & Counties Bank has rebranded, involving a number of enhancements.

The specialist lender now has a refreshed website and a new corporate strapline — ‘Built on understanding’ — which aims to emphasise its customer ethos.

The fresh website has new areas for customers and brokers, with tailored content and improved customer journeys.

The rebrand reflects the bank’s client-centric business model, as well as its UK-wide growth and expansion programme, and recent investments in staff and technology.

In 2020, Cambridge & Counties Bank saw a near 9% rise in loans and advances to customers to £828m and has seen gross new lending increase by almost 40% to £220m, despite the economic turmoil and impact of the pandemic.

It also expanded its team by 11% to 165 employees, with particular growth in the bank’s Leicester headquarters and new areas, such as Scotland.

In addition, the finance provider has invested significantly in its digital and technology infrastructure and expects to inject a further £2m this year.

Simon Lindley, chief development officer at Cambridge & Counties Bank (pictured above), said: “We have grown significantly in size and scope over the past nine years, due in large part to the positive relationships we have with clients and brokers, and we have put them at the heart of this rebranding initiative.

“The bank’s performance, through difficult circumstances, shows that our customer-centric approach, our ability to create bespoke solutions for clients, and our broad range of products, differentiates Cambridge & Counties Bank in an increasingly competitive market, and a new refreshed brand will enhance this.”
