Together originations returned to pre-pandemic levels in June

Together Financial Services Limited saw originations reach £190.3m in June, its highest since the first UK lockdown.

The lenders’ trading update for the quarter ended 30th June 2021 reported that average monthly originations were up 17.1% on the previous quarter to £146.9m.

During the period, Together completed its second small balance commercial real estate mortgage-backed securitisation for £249m, three months after it issued its first transaction of this kind.

"We have maintained our strong momentum into the fourth quarter as originations rose 17.1% and returned to pre-pandemic levels in June,” said Gerald Grimes, group CEO designate at Together (pictured above).

“We have also added further strength and depth to our funding structure as we continue to shape our business for the future.

“With demand for specialist lending products expected to grow strongly, Together is well placed to help increasing numbers of customers to realise their ambitions and to support the UK economy in bouncing back from the pandemic."

Together is set to release its full year 2021 results on 16th September.

In June, Together cut rates, hiked LTVs and doubled maximum loan sizes across its unregulated bridging range.
