MS Lending Group expands into Scotland

MS Lending Group is now offering bridging finance in mainland Scotland.

The specialist lender — which launched in January — will now provide its full range of products in Scotland, led by the team in Manchester.

“As a dynamic business, we want to be as adaptable in Scotland as we are in England and Wales, and are constantly listening to our partners to ascertain their needs so we can service them best,” commented Michael Stratton, founder at MS Lending Group (pictured above).

“That’s why it’s important we provide customers in Scotland exactly what we offer and what’s working well for our borrowers in England and Wales.

“We have seen such a huge appetite for our ‘no-valuation up to £500,000’ product that we could not ignore the amount of enquiries we were receiving for properties in Scotland.

“We have been made aware of the need for a lender with no minimum loan size that is able to move quickly enough to give clients an edge in the market — and that’s exactly what we offer.”

The seven-month-old bridging lender will be leaning on specialists in the area on certain matters.

“Although I have experience of Scotland from my past roles, the third parties we work with, such as solicitors and valuers, are integral to our offering,” Michael added.

“We wanted to wait until we were 100% satisfied we were able to deliver the same standard of speed and service as we deliver in England and Wales.”

Since it began trading, MS Lending Group has amassed a loan book exceeding £10m.
