Black & White Bridging and Precise Mortgages bolster teams

Black & White Bridging and Precise Mortgages have made new additions to their specialist finance teams.

Black & White Bridging

Black & White Bridging has appointed Lyn McLaren as head of underwriting.

In addition to running the underwriting team and helping to streamline the lender’s processes, Lyn will be working closely with Nicholas Goss, head of investments and capital markets at Black & White Bridging, to tailor the firm’s proposition more closely to what potential funders are looking for in short-term lending businesses.

Lyn joins from Rockstead Ltd, where she specialised in advising on short-term property finance portfolios for corporate clients.

Prior to this, she held roles at various companies, including Bank of Ireland and Bath & West Finance.

Commenting on her appointment, Lyn said: “I see this as a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the growth of Black & White Bridging.

“My skills are particularly well suited to the position based on my experience built up over many years in the lending industry.

“I am excited by this new position and look forward to helping Black & White become one of the pre-eminent lenders in this market.”

Damien Druce, commercial director at Black & White Bridging, added: “With Lyn’s arrival, our senior management team is now complete for the next phase of Black & White’s development.

“Lyn brings with her an immense knowledge of the bridging and development market and we and our introducers will benefit hugely from her experience and expertise.”

Precise Mortgages

Precise Mortgages has appointed Amanda Lammers as a BDM.

In her new role, she will support brokers in St Albans, Enfiend, Hemel Hempstead, Ilford, Luton, Romford and Watford, as well as North, North West and East London.

Amanda brings a wealth of experience to the position after working as a BDM in North West and East London for five years before joining Precise Mortgages, as well as a previous role as a mortgage broker at Just Mortgages.

Throughout her career, she worked for a variety of companies, including Coventry Building Society, State Bank of India and Nationwide Building Society.

“It’s a proud and exciting moment to be a part of the Precise Mortgages’ journey,” said Amanda.

“My fundamental goal is to play a key part in creating a smooth journey for brokers and their customers, as well as helping Precise Mortgages to stand out as one of the leading specialist lenders in the market.

“It’s an area of the country I’m already very familiar with and it’s great that I can continue to support many of the brokers who I’ve built great relationships with over the years.

“The desire for brokers to have face-to-face contact with BDMs is fantastic to see.”

James Forth, national sales manager at Precise Mortgages, added: “I’m delighted that Amanda has chosen to join us.

“She’s an exciting new addition to a team which is renowned for being one of the most experienced and knowledgeable in the industry.”

“Her previous roles mean she can see things from both sides of the fence and will stand her in good stead for developing broker relationships, as well as keeping them up-to-date about the latest solutions that Precise Mortgages can offer.”
