Tuscan Capital hires regional manager for Midlands

Tuscan Capital has appointed Amjad Ibn Abdul (pictured above) as regional manager for the Midlands.

Reporting directly to Colin Sanders, CEO at Tuscan Capital, Amjad will be responsible for developing broker relationships and new business streams from the Birmingham area.

He will prepare credit papers and serve as the client relationships manager and first point of contact for Midlands-based intermediaries.

Prior to joining the lender, Amjad held roles for various companies, including Finance4Business, Alternative Bridging Corporation and, most recently, Proplend.

“With a family home and deep roots in Birmingham, Amjad knows the Midlands area intimately and is well connected with the local real estate and developer communities,” said Colin.

“We believe that the region he covers offers superb growth opportunities for on-the-ball bridging specialists, whether lenders or introducers.

“By appointing Amjad to this new and challenging role, we’re investing further in an area in which we have already demonstrated our faith following the successful opening last year of our central Birmingham office, the first of our regional hubs outside London.”
