Fladgate strengthens real estate team with new partner

Law firm Fladgate has recruited Sarah Conibeere (pictured above) as a partner in its residential real estate team, the tenth partner to join the company this year.

Sarah moved to Fladgate from Mischon de Reya, where she worked as a managing associate in the firm’s residential property group specialising in transactions and deals in leasehold and freehold properties, mainly in the London area.

Before joining Mischon de Reya, she held a number of roles at Seddons, Jennings Son & Ash, and Simply Law, and has expertise in sale and purchase agreements and handling complex issues involving listed buildings.

Her practice is primarily international and frequently contains an offshore element, with detailed knowledge of the British Virgin Islands, Panama, Jersey, and Guernsey.

In her new role, Sarah will work closely with Helen Curtis-Goulding to build the residential real estate team’s ability to advise a range of individuals and businesses in growing and managing their property portfolios, both in the UK and offshore.

“Fladgate has an impressive track record of supporting clients of all sizes in the growth of their residential property portfolios,” said Sarah.

“The residential real estate team is made up of a collection of experienced, dynamic and knowledgeable legal professionals capable of advising on a range of complex and intricate issues relating to residential property.

“I look forward to leveraging my experience to bring new expertise and perspectives to this fast-growing and well-respected partnership.”

Grant Gordon, executive partner at Fladgate, added: “Our partnership is growing at a rapid pace to meet the increased demand for expert legal advice which we have seen since the start of the pandemic.

“Sarah is an experienced and expert lawyer with a long track record of advising on high profile property deals and issues.

“Her arrival complements and builds on our team’s existing expertise and continues the strong rate of growth of the partnership in 2021.”

Sarah’s arrival brings the number of partners in Fladgate’s wider real estate team to 27, with over 50 lawyers.

The division acts for entrepreneurial investors, developers, and corporate occupiers, through to listed companies.

It works across traditional asset classes, such as offices and retail, and emerging ones, including logistics and student accommodation.
