Propel Finance and Conister grow teams

Propel Finance and Conister Finance & Leasing have bolstered their specialist finance teams.

Propel Finance

Propel Finance has appointed Keir Bradie as its head of broker and intermediary.

In his new role, he will drive the expansion of Propel’s broker proposition and build its relationships with existing and future partners.

Keir has over two decades of experience in the asset finance market and joins from Anglo Scottish Asset Finance Limited where, as sales director, he initially led the development of a successful salesforce and introducer base in Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Prior to this, he held senior executive positions at Macquarie Asset Finance Limited, Aldermore Asset Finance, and Fortis Lease.

This follows the appointment of Paul Piggott as Propel’s head of vendor sales.

“I am delighted to be joining the business at such an exciting time in its development,” said Keir.

“I look forward to strengthening the proposition provided to key brokers and to growing business together.”

Jon Maycock, commercial director at Propel, added:  “Introducers are a vital part of our business origination strategy at Propel.

“Keir is recognised across the asset finance industry for his exceptional network, ability to surpass expectations in terms of business origination, and his commitment to going the extra mile to build value-added introducer relationships.

“We are now poised to realise the next stage of our growth ambitions and significantly increase our market share in our chosen sectors.”

Propel’s business portfolio has grown by 35% in the past year and has over 40,000 customers.

Conister Finance & Leasing

Conister Finance & Leasing Ltd, the wholesale lending and broker division of Conister Bank Limited (CBL), has appointed Mark Hayman as its new executive director.

His role will be advisory in nature, offering Conister expertise and oversight while remaining in his current position as managing director at Bluestar Leasing — which he co-founded with Marcus Gregory, who also previously joined Conister as an executive director.

His experience across the supply chain will support the company in augmenting relationships within the finance and lending industry, particularly in developing supplier accounts.

Douglas Grant, director at Conister, said: “I am delighted to welcome Mark to the Conister family as a new executive director, alongside recently appointed Marcus Gregory.

“Mark’s expertise in sales strategies and the success he cultivated working with Marcus will help us to deliver upon our ambitious growth plans.

“We are well placed to become a leading provider of asset finance and corporate loans to SMEs in the UK and Mark’s credentials in relationship building within the lending sector will help us achieve this goal.”
