B&C Awards 2021 to be live streamed for the first time

Bridging & Commercial is offering those who did not manage to bag a table at the sold-out event the opportunity to tune in live on the day.

The awards ceremony — in association with United Trust Bank — is being held at the Hurlingham Club on 6th October and will host 700 of the bridging, development and specialist banking sectors’ top professionals.

In a bid to include more of the industry, especially those who are shortlisted but unable to attend, the occasion will be made available via live stream from 1pm.

“The B&C Awards is always an exciting date in the industry calendar, but this year is extra special,” commented Medianett’s managing director, Caron Schreuder.

“As the event has been sold out for months, we have decided to give those who can’t be with us on the day a chance to be a part of the action.

“It would be amazing to see viewing parties organised and people celebrating from afar, as well as at the venue itself.”

The service will be provided through Venue IQ, a third-party platform where users can simply log in at the start time to watch proceedings from their remote location.

Those who would like to gain access to the live stream on 6th October will need to register via this link

Individual login details will be provided automatically a couple of days prior to the event date.

Timings for the live stream will run from approximately 1pm until 2.30pm, covering speeches and the first part of the awards, and then from 4pm until 5pm for the second half of the prizegiving.

A programme — including the order of awards — will be made available to those who have registered and are logging in on the day.

The shortlist was revealed in June following almost 2,500 votes.
