They will lead teams based in Reading and London with a total of 15 relationship directors, focusing on deal origination and management of the bank’s existing loan book.
They will also sit on the division’s executive committee.
Andy and John — who have over 40 years of experience in real estate finance together — joined the company in 2019, having both previously worked at NatWest Bank.

Geoff Ray, managing director of the real estate finance arm at Secure Trust, said: “Andy and John’s appointments recognise the valuable contribution they have made to the business since joining us two years ago.

In 2020, the division saw revenues increase by 10.4% to £54m, with the team’s balance sheet growing by 9.3%, exceeding £1bn for the first time.
