Jonathan Britstone, Hope Capital

Hope Capital names new operations manager

Hope Capital has appointed Jonathan Britstone (pictured above) as operations manager.

The announcement follows the recent expansion of the bridging lender’s underwriting team, where it recruited Helen Hargreaves and Andrew Bate in August.

Jonathan joins the company from Together, where he worked for almost five years in the solicitors’ team, which included liaison with conveyancers to allow the smooth running of an application.

He also has 15 years of experience in a broad range of positions in the wider legal industry.

In his new role, Jonathan will be responsible for supporting the sales, underwriting and post-completion teams as the company grows and takes on increased business volumes.

“Joining Hope Capital at a time where it is flourishing as a business, is really exciting,” said Jonathan.

“I look forward to working alongside the team and helping to contribute to Hope Capital’s progress going forward.”

The lender is currently placing a focus on its long-term recruitment strategy and is looking to secure talented individuals, with greater or lesser experience, who share the same passion for personal development and sustained success.

Gary Bailey, managing director at Hope Capital, added: “Jonathan’s appointment is part of our ambitious plans to bolster all of the divisions across Hope Capital.

“As we take on more cases, it’s essential we are best positioned to deliver an outstanding service to brokers and their clients.

“Bringing talent on board, such as people of Jonathan’s calibre, will ensure we can do this.”
