Together expands sales team

Together has bolstered its commercial sales team with three new business development directors, six BDMs and seven telesales team members.

The specialist lender’s new business development directors are Kash Moghul, Chirag Mistry and Gordon Spotten.

In their new roles, Kash will be driving the group’s growth in London, the South and the East, while Chirag will be responsible for the Midlands and Gordon for the North West.

Prior to working at Together, Kash was a regional director for the East of England and London at ThinCats.

Before that, he held roles at various finance companies, including RBS and Allied Irish Bank.

Meanwhile, Chirag and Gordon join the lender from The FSE Group and TSB Bank, respectively.

“The amazing record of Together speaks for itself and I am looking forward to driving the business forward and creating a significant presence in the southern markets,” said Kash.

Chirag commented: “Together is an entrepreneurial business with a fantastic history.

“My role will be to support the group’s ambitions to be the country’s best specialist lender by promoting its products and propositions to businesses in the Midlands.”

Gordon added: “I have a wide experience of business lending and will be best placed to deliver Together’s common sense solutions to support businesses in the region, helping them grow and prosper.”

In addition, Together has appointed Jacob Tate, Joshua Stevens, Thomas Gill, Greg Applewhaite, Peter Wright and Marcus Lunt as BDMs, as well as expanded its telesales team with seven new recruits — Taylor Green, James Ireland, Susan Nicholson, Marc English, Camilla Scott, Andrew Ralph and Hugo Wemyss.

Katie Melbourne, who has worked at Together for nearly five years, has also been promoted the team’s sales manager.

In her new role, she will report directly to Kerry Haworth, internal sales director at Together.

Commenting on the appointments, Kerry said: “We’re delighted to welcome the new members of the team as we launch our new retention strategy — reaching out to our existing customers to support them with the finance they need to realise their ambitions.

“We already have a strong presence in the regions and we will be building on this to increase our commercial lending to existing and new customers across the UK, while our new BDMs and telesales colleagues will provide a point of contact for clients calling and visiting our headquarters.

“In our annual results, we revealed that we’ve returned to pre-pandemic funding levels and our new recruits will help us as we grow the business further over the next few years.”
