MT Finance appoints its first ever NED

MT Finance has appointed Chris Patrick (pictured above) to its board as its first ever non-executive director.

Chris has extensive experience in the private equity, finance and investment banking sector, having held senior roles at Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, Nomura International, Lehman Brothers and, most recently, Anacap, where he worked as a partner for over 11 years.

He has worked with MT Finance before, playing a significant role in negotiating the management buyout in March with the-then minority shareholders.

He joins the lender to assist in the rollout of its growth plans, with a particular focus on the company’s ESG initiatives, funding strategy and continued investment into technology.

Commenting on his appointment, Chris said: “I am delighted to be joining the board of MT Finance and look forward to helping this business achieve its objective of becoming a leading property finance provider through its focus on creating value for all of its key stakeholders: customers, employees, and the wider society in general.”

Joshua Elash, director of MT Finance, added: “We have known Chris for a while and are delighted to welcome him to the board of directors.

“Chris brings energy and experience to the board and is strongly placed to assist us in our goal of becoming a leading provider of specialist property finance in the UK.”
