Omega Commercial Solutions, the Hertfordshire-based ‘Whole of Market’ commercial finance brokers, have this week announced some management changes.
With immediate effect David Sampson, who has been with the company since 2004, is appointed Operations Director to oversee the running of the company’s offices.
He will be responsible for, amongst other things, maintaining the high levels of customer service for which Omega has a reputation and also the processing and completion of incoming business.
David Sampson commented on his appointment: “I was delighted to accept this position as part of the appointments being announced. These changes reflect the Directors’ desire to build even further on the success we have achieved in recent years during very difficult economic times.
“That success is entirely due to the hard work and professionalism of every member of the team here at Omega.”
Whilst a firm date is yet to be agreed, Mark Jones will be joining the company as Sales Director during August. Mark is currently completing contractual obligations with his existing employer.
Mark’s principle role will be to maintain the excellent relationships the company has with the many networks and other financial professionals who introduce business to Omega, and also to continue the drive for new business sources which has been such a feature of the company’s activities during the last few years.
Kevin Jones, MD at Omega said “I am very excited about these appointments which have been made so the company can build on what we have achieved over the last few years, even during these difficult economic times. I believe the changes will place the company in an excellent position to take advantage of the turnaround in the commercial finance sector which can now only be a matter of time.
“I will of course remain as MD of Omega; these changes will allow me to better focus on the company’s core strategy and also to pursue even more vigorously the extremely important task of supporting Adam Tyler, CEO of the NACFB, in my role as current Chairman of that organisation."
