The common quirks in bridging and development and how to overcome them

Bridging & Commercial will be hosting its next virtual roundtable, in partnership with Lendhub, on Wednesday, 3rd November.

The interactive event, which is part of a series launched earlier this year, will be moderated by Medianett’s managing director, Caron Schreuder.

The topic will be: ‘Common quirks in bridging and development facilities and how to overcome these’.

Lendhub’s CCO Asim Shirwani and BDM Ashley Kendall will be joined by Shaz Ahmed, property finance specialist at GPS Financial; Joe Lane, director at Mortgage Lane; Kim McGinley, managing director at VIBE Specialist Finance; and Ben Hubbard, director at BridgeShield.

The panel will share their views on a range of common quirks in bridging and development facilities — including unusual asset and borrower types, timescales, working with other lenders and planning — and will share tips on how to overcome them.

They will also discuss the rising costs of refurbishment and development projects and how to best account for these at the application stage.

Registration is open and free to attend by all professionals working in the sector.

The panel will be taking questions during the event and attendees are encouraged to get involved.

It will also be available to watch after 3rd November on B&C.
