Hope Capital, LendInvest and eConveyancer have bolstered their teams with new hires

Hope Capital

Hope Capital has appointed Jon Reed as a senior development underwriter.

In his new role, he will be responsible for underwriting and completing case volumes, as well as supporting the Hope Capital team as the business looks to enter a new lending space.

Jon has worked in the finance industry for over 20 years, with a specific focus on bridging and development finance more recently, and joins the lender from Roma Finance, where he worked as a senior underwriter.

“This is a brilliant opportunity for me to use my previous experience to help contribute to Hope Capital’s continued success,” said Jon.

“Speed and efficiency are key when it comes to bridging and I’m excited to be part of a company that recognises this, as well as one which places product innovation and service excellence at the forefront of everything they do.”

Following its 10th anniversary, Hope Capital is currently looking to onboard a wave of new appointments at all levels of the business as part of its plans for the future.

LendInvest

LendInvest has appointed Omega Poole as the new head of capital raising and Robert Pritchard as the new head of fund management.

Omega, who has 18 years of experience as a financier, real estate corporate finance advisor and lawyer, joins LendInvest from Mishcon de Reya, where she worked within the debt advisory team.

Prior to this, she held roles at various companies, including Brown Rudnick LLP and CBRE.

In her new role, she will focus on leading capital raising efforts for the existing fund and new fund series going forward.

Meanwhile, Robert joins the lender from Urban Exposure PLC, where he was chief operating officer.

Before that, he worked in various positions at CBRE and Barclays.

In his new role at LendInvest, he will be responsible for driving the growth and performance of the company’s fund management business.

“Having watched the LendInvest business carve a new niche and become a leading property finance asset manager supporting SME developers in the UK over the last decade or so, I’m absolutely delighted to have joined the funds team to help continue the development of our successful funds business,” said Omega.

Robert added: “I am very pleased to have joined LendInvest during such an exciting time for the company. 

“The strength of brand and entrepreneurial spirit at LendInvest positions us well to further expand our fund management business and become one of the leading specialist managers in the UK.”

The hires come as LendInvest looks to expand its senior team in funds and technology, following the company’s IPO in July 2021.

eConveyancer

eConveyancer has appointed Michelle Ward as a national account manager.

Michelle brings with her nearly 15 years of experience, having worked in various roles at HSBC, Police Mutual and, most recently, Bank of Ireland, where she was a business development manager and corporate account manager. 

In her new role, she will take on responsibility for looking after some of eConveyancer’s network and club relationships, as well as some of its top broker firms.

Commenting on hew appointment, Michelle said: “I’m so pleased to join eConveyancer at such an important part in the life of the business. 

“Initiatives like DigitalMove and the Rapid Remortgage have already set eConveyancer apart as a leader in this market and there will be plenty more to talk about with our network, club and broker partners in the future.”

Karen Rodrigues, sales director at eConveyancer, added: “I’m very happy to welcome Michelle to our growing team. 

“Conveyancing is such a vital part of the mortgage process and more brokers can take more control over that process by partnering with eConveyancer. 

“We want to increase the number of brokers with whom we work and so it’s important that we develop strong, mutually beneficial working relationships with our national account partners. 

“Michelle will play a big role in helping us to achieve this, working with networks, clubs and large intermediary firms, to ensure eConveyancer continues to deliver everything they need.”
