JWA Recruitment rebrands

JWA Recruitment has rebranded to Podium Recruitment, following significant growth in the last 12 months, which saw the firm double its headcount.

The company, which officially launched in July 2020, offers tailored recruitment and consultancy services to the specialist lending space.

As part of the rebrand, Podium now has three separate divisions for its services — mortgages, intermediaries, and bridging and development — and is set to launch its new website soon.

The team has also hired two new trainee consultants, with a further one joining in November, and promoted Bobby Wells to head of the intermediaries division.

The recruitment firm plans to further grow its team in 2022, which will include the addition of a new senior consultant to the team to head up a new division.

It also aims to separate its contingency and executive search offerings, which will also change the dynamics of the team and create further internal opportunities for progression.

Daniel Greenhalgh, co-founder of Podium Recruitment (pictured above), said: “The rebrand to Podium is an exciting step in taking our business to the next level.

“I am passionate about the bridging and development space, and we look forward to continuing to service the industry for many years to come.

“The last 12 months have been very significant for us; we have had the opportunity to work on numerous director and C-suite level openings, while continuing to make a positive contribution towards the growth and success of the short-term lending arena.

“I’m also excited to roll out some new technologies next year which I believe will enable us to further support the sector.

“The optimism, grit, and determination of the industry during what was a challenging 2020 has inspired me personally.”

Paul Swanick, chief executive officer at Podium Recruitment, added: “Starting a business in the middle of a pandemic may not have been seen as the wisest move; however, we always believed we had a best-in-class proposition to service the employment needs of our clients within financial services.

“We are now 16 months since those initial steps and have taken the opportunity to rebrand, sporting a new logo and an entirely new look.

“Our commitment to our customers will be to continue our outstanding levels of service and I want to personally thank all our clients for confidence in our ability to support them with their employee needs, and to our candidates in trusting us with their careers.”
