West One and Specialist Hub join finance panels

West One and Specialist Hub have been appointed to Brilliant Solutions’ and Fleet Mortgages’ panels, respectively.

West One

West One has been added to Brilliant Solutions’ lender panel as part of its growth strategy to open up its proposition to networks and mortgage clubs.

Brilliant Solutions’ brokers will now have access to the lender’s BTL product range, which caters for both amateur and professional landlords either as individuals or through a limited company.

Loans are all manually underwritten and are available for houses, leasehold flats, maisonettes and new build properties.

West One also specialises in complex transactions, such as HMO/MUFBs, holiday lets and will consider ex-pat applicants.

Andrew Ferguson, managing director for the BTL division of West One, said: “Our BTL division continues to go from strength to strength and joining Brilliant Solutions’ panel is another positive step for us.

“Brilliant Solutions has a great reputation and by joining its panel we will open up opportunities for its brokers to work with our specialist team of underwriters who can support on complex cases.”

Michael Craig, sales director at Brilliant Solutions, added: “Having already been part of our packager panel, the addition of West One to our direct lender panel is a welcome one.

“Not only will it give our brokers access to West One’s comprehensive range of products, but also gives them access to the manual underwriting and support from its BDMs.”

Specialist Hub

Specialist Hub has been appointed to Fleet Mortgages’ packager panel.

As part of the agreement, the company will now be able to package cases for Fleet Mortgages, which offers BTL mortgages across three core ranges – standard, limited company/LLP and HMOs/MUBs.

The specialist BTL lender recently announced a relaunch of its product range, which includes mortgage options at up to 80% LTV.

Fleet Mortgages’s offering does not require stress testing, ASTs or bank statements on the background BTL portfolio, and there’s no limit on the number of BTL properties the client needs to own.

Tony Sutton, managing director at Specialist Hub, said: “We are delighted to have been granted packager status with Fleet Mortgages and look forward to a productive and rewarding relationship working together with them in the future.

“Fleet has some great USPs and its new funding arrangements will only further enhance their position in the market.”

Steve Cox, chief commercial officer at Fleet Mortgages, commented: “These are exciting times for Fleet and it’s important we work with quality businesses who understand our proposition and can package cases to the very highest standards; hence our decision to add Specialist Hub to our packager panel.

“Landlord activity remains strong in the market and advisers are likely to be seeing a growing number of clients seeking both purchase and remortgage finance.

“Fleet is totally committed to the BTL space and with the recent relaunch of our new full product range and our criteria, we believe we have an offering and service levels which will appeal right across the board.”
