Mint Property Finance donates over £10,000 to charity in 2021

Mint Property Finance has donated over £10,000 to various charities in the last 11 months.

Throughout the year, the specialist lender’s team has undertaken charity challenges, as well as organised its own ‘office Olympics’, bake-offs, food eating contests and team runs.

As part of its corporate and social responsibility programme, the business also pledges £850 every month in aid of a charity chosen by the team.

Some of the charitable organisations Mint Property Finance has helped in 2021 include Cash for Kids, The Christie Charitable Fund, RSPCA, and Cancer Research UK.

In October, the lender’s marketing manager Stephen Cunningham (pictured above) participated in the Liverpool Marathon to raise funds for Mind, in memory of his late brother.

To support his initiative, Mint Property Finance helped Stephen raise over £1,500, and made Mind the business’ charity for the month, donating a further £850.

“Mind is a charity very close to my heart due to the amazing work they do to support those suffering from mental health illnesses and aiding in removing the stigma around them,” said Stephen.

“I’m very grateful for the support of my colleagues and Mint as a business, both emotionally and through their sponsorship of my marathon.

“It really is a people-first organisation that I'm proud to be a part of.”

Andrew Lazare, founder and managing director at Mint Property Finance, added:  “As a business and a team of individuals, charity is incredibly important to us.

“It’s why we committed to making our annual charity programme employee run — our team gets to choose the fundraising activity we will undertake together every month, as well as the charity which we, as a business, will support.

“It’s just one of the many ways in which we unite inside and outside of work.

“When we learned of Stephen’s fundraising challenge and his personal commitment to supporting Mind, we were keen to show our support.

“It’s our pleasure to get behind both him and Mind, who deliver such valuable work.”

The Mint Property Finance team is set to donate blood for NHS Blood and Transplant as one of their charity initiatives in the new year.
