MSP Capital names new head of broker relations

MSP Capital has promoted Arian Manouchehri (pictured above) to the newly created role of head of broker relations.

Arian, who has worked in the property and finance industries for several years, initially joined the company in January 2021 as a senior analyst.

He has extensive experience in debt structuring and specialises in helping brokers to create simple solutions to complex funding requirements for their clients.

Martin Higgins, managing director at MSP Capital, said: “Broker-introduced business has grown considerably at MSP Capital over the past year and continues to go from strength to strength.

“The creation of this new role is a first for us and reflects our ambition to focus still further on enhancing our presence within the broker network.

“Arian is a perfect fit because of his can-do attitude, tenacity and drive, and his ability to form strong and lasting relationships with brokers who need both development and bridging finance for their clients.

“At this incredibly exciting time for MSP, I am confident our broker relations activities will grow with record pace.”

Arian added: “As MSP Capital’s first ever head of broker relations, my focus is all about adding long-term value to existing and new relationships.

“We are well-known for our entrepreneurial lending approach and having strong relationships with both clients and brokers alike.

“We lend money based on sound underwriting logic rather than a bureaucratic approach that otherwise plagues the market, and we always try to find solutions and a way forward for the client.

“It’s an exciting time for MSP, with significant opportunities ahead.”

Arian’s appointment is the latest in a series of hires and promotions across MSP Capital’s finance, legal and underwriting departments, which saw the team grow by around 50% over the past year.

The recent hires include Steve Wilson, who joined MSP Capital as a BDM to accelerate growth in the Bristol, Bath and Cotswolds regions, and Neil Woolgar, the company’s new legal director.
