In his new role, he will be responsible for implementing the overall strategy into the region, while supporting CSS surveyors in reaching their full potential and delivering on client expectations.

Hugh, who is a RICS chartered surveyor, has worked in the property sector for over 30 years, having started as a negotiator at Woolwich Property Services.

Throughout his career, he held senior roles at various companies, including Simmons & Sons estate agency and, most recently, SDL Surveying, where he was a senior regional surveyor for the South for 14 years.

He has long-standing and widespread experience in joint high-valuation inspections (over £3m) and compliant high-value process design. 

He also has significant industry technical expertise and a specialist interest in green mortgages, domestic EPC retrofit (including spray foam issues), non-traditional property and fringe subject matter.
