Adapt and Albatross set to bring the fun of Cannes to London

Adapt Finance and Albatross Capital, in partnership with Medianett Publishing, are inviting the industry to join them at SKIPIM, an event that doesn’t require your passport.

Designed to be an alternative for those unable to travel abroad for industry events, SKIPIM will bring together people from the specialist finance industry to catch up, relax and have some fun.

Drinks and nibbles are on Albatross Capital and Adapt Finance, and will include the obligatory rosé on tap.

The event will be held on 16th March at Dirty Martini in Hanover Square, London.

Anyone interested in attending is encouraged to register on the SKIPIM Eventbrite page for free as soon as possible, as capacity is limited.

“We're not looking to replace anything — we're putting on this event as an alternative opportunity to cater for everyone who misses a casual industry get-together, while supporting our beloved London pubs that have had a tough time over the last few years,” said Jordan Fearnley Brown, co-founder and principal at Albatross Capital.

Jordan McBriar, managing director at Adapt Finance, added: “SKIPIM, like so much of the industry is famed for, is just a bit of fun.

“We are lucky to have the glitzy events, which we all look forward to, but we just feel that, sometimes, there is nothing better than a good old knees-up in a boozer with people we love, respect and have missed.”

I hope all our friends and peers are able to join us - I think we all need an informal get together to have a laugh and share stories.
