FIBA names MFS as lead sponsor for 2022 annual conference

MFS has been chosen as the lead sponsor for the Financial Intermediary & Broker Association’s (FIBA) 2022 Annual Conference at the Mortgage Business Expo (MBE) in Manchester.

Scheduled for 22nd March, the all-day event — which also marks FIBA’s fourth anniversary — will comprise keynote speeches and panel discussions focused on bridging and development finance, BTL and commercial mortgages.

Several of FIBA’s lender partners will also be exhibiting as part of the conference.

During the event, the specialist property finance trade body will be announcing its future planning strategy and launching a number of enhancements in partnership with its sister company, SimplyBiz Mortgages.

The event is open to all professionals and businesses involved in the specialist finance sector, and offers an opportunity for the wider industry to reflect on the experiences of 2021, the key lessons learned, and what 2022 is likely to have in store for lenders, brokers, businesses, and investors.

Adam Tyler, executive chairman at FIBA (pictured above), said: “Following a membership growth of 100% in 2020 and more than 50% again last year, we are excited to deliver a conference focusing on key areas in specialist property finance.

“We are pleased that MFS will be so involved in such a major industry event; one which will ensure the specialist property finance space will continue to grow.

“After such a great start to 2022, we can build on the positivity generated by this event to set the standard for the year ahead.”

Paresh Raja, CEO at MFS, added: “We are very much looking forward to the FIBA Conference at the MBE.

“The event is one of the best ways to collaborate with the broker community within the specialist finance sector.

“With 15 years’ experience as a bridging lender, we have witnessed the remarkable growth of specialist property finance over the past decade — there is great innovative across the industry, providing endless opportunities for brokers to support their clients.

“As specialists in both bridging and BTL products, the MFS team is looking forward to sharing its knowledge, experience and advice with the attendees.”
