Aldermore Bank and Time Finance have welcomed new members to their teams.

Aldermore Bank

Aldermore Bank has appointed James Harrowsmith as a BDM for its asset finance team.

James has worked in the financial services sector for 29 years and has extensive experience in funding a variety of assets within key industry sectors across the UK.

Throughout his career, he held roles across a number of finance firms, including NWS Bank, Eddie Stobart and, most recently, Barclays.

Commenting on his appointment, James said: “I’m thrilled to join the team at Aldermore.

“Throughout my career, I’ve taken pride in understanding businesses and their operations to provide them with the most appropriate funding solutions.

“It’s been incredibly rewarding to see businesses succeed in their growth and sustainability ambitions and I’m looking forward to settling into my new role.”

Lee Rhodes, commercial director for asset finance at Aldermore, added: “I’m delighted to welcome James to the asset finance team.

“James has rich experience in the asset finance industry and I’m certain he will be a great addition to the team, helping to further strengthen Aldermore’s market-leading offering for businesses.”

Time Finance

Time Finance has appointed David Nurcombe as a BDM for its invoice finance team.

David, who has over 25 years of experience in the business finance sector, joins the company from Skipton Business Finance.

Prior to this, he held similar roles as Lloyds Banking Group and Investec Capital Solutions.

"It’s an exciting time to be joining Time Finance,” said David.

“There’s a definite momentum in the market with investment high on the agenda and many business owners are looking for cashflow funding solutions to help capitalise on new opportunities.

“Stepping up to this new role presents a great opportunity to drive support through our enhanced invoice finance offering.”

Adrian Payne, head of sales at Time Finance, added: “David is a great addition to our team, and we are delighted to have him on board as we continue to expand our presence across the UK.

“As a national sales team, we are committed to delivering valuable and staple finance solutions to businesses who are looking to release additional working capital for innovation and growth.

“We have ambitious growth objectives to continue enabling UK SMEs to gain easy access to our invoice finance solutions and David’s appointment will help us in achieving this.”

This follows a series of appointments Time Finance has made in recent months, including Steve Nichols as director of asset finance, Michael Freebury as head of sales for Wales in the invoice finance team, and Lauren Maloney as a BDM.
