Bridge Invest lends £6.75m for central London property purchase

Bridge Invest has completed a £6.75m bridging loan for an offshore borrower looking to acquire a prime central London property.

The facility — agreed at 75% LTV on a six-month term — allowed the client to purchase a new build apartment in Lancer Square, Kensington, to use as a BTL investment.

The borrower intends to repay the facility by refinancing to a new loan with a private bank.

Aid Mehmetaj, head of origination at Bridge Invest, said: “This shows our appetite to lend to strong sponsors acquiring prime central London assets.

“We would like to thank Jack Goguelin, [director] at Enness Global for introducing the loan to us, as well as our professional team, including Fotini Leventi, [partner] at Fahri LLP and James Perris, [director] at De Villiers.”
