LDNfinance, Ultimate Finance and SoMo welcome new team members




LDNfinance, Ultimate Finance and SoMo have hired new members for their specialist finance teams.

LDNfinance

LDNfinance has appointed Greg Cunnington as chief operating officer.

Greg, who has over 15 years of experience in the industry, joins the company from Alexander Hall, where he previously worked for over a decade in different roles.

“I’m thrilled to be starting a new chapter with LDNfinance as a significant person within the business,” said Greg.

“I’m excited to take on a new challenge and look forward to applying my knowledge first-hand to help expand and grow the business.

Anthony Rose, co-CEO at LDNfinance, added: “Greg will bring valuable expertise and experience to the business as we further bolster our C-suite with his appointment.

“His expertise will help us to expand our lender reach and enhance our service capabilities to new and returning clients.”

Following its rebrand at the end of 2021, LDNfinance is seeing a period of rapid growth.

Since 1st of January, the brokerage has appointed five other new members to join its team.

Ultimate Finance

Ultimate Finance has expanded its asset finance team with the appointment of Rachael Foulis as a regional director for Scotland.

Rachael joins the company from Close Brothers, where she previously worked as an area sales manager.

Commenting on her appointment, Rachael said: “I am delighted to be joining Ultimate Finance and to work alongside the asset finance team from the Edinburgh office to help keep business moving across the country.

“Ultimate Finance’s approach to asset-based lending through excellent service has helped create a strong reputation for them and I look forward to supporting businesses in Scotland with access to asset finance facilities.”

Rachael joins the lender on the back of a record year, which saw it provide funding of over £1.9bn to UK businesses, including a record annual performance for new business in asset finance of £46m and a record high asset finance loan book of over £75m.

SoMo

SoMo — part of Social Money Limited — has appointed Lindsey O’Neill as an in-house talent acquisition partner.

In her new role, she will be recruiting top candidates, oversee the onboarding process and develop personal growth plans to help retain talent. 

She will also work across Social Money Limited’s additional fintech brand, Payl8r.

Since her appointment, Lindsey has already recruited two new members to expand SoMo’s sales team.

Commenting on her appointment, Lindsey said: “I’m delighted to join SoMo and be given the opportunity to build my own recruitment function.

SoMo is currently recruiting for eight roles available, including key account managers and BDMs.
