Aldermore, the new British bank, has strengthened its invoice finance team in London and the South East, with the appointment of Mark Dickson to the role of Associate Director Sales.
Reporting to Aldermore’s Regional Managing Director, Ian Clark, he increases the size of the sales team based in the bank’s Maidstone office to six. His new role will involve expanding Aldermore’s base of business introducers throughout London and managing relationships with existing invoice finance customers.
Before joining Aldermore, Dickson was responsible for developing business opportunities in the London area for Bibby Financial Services Ltd.
Prior to that, he held a number of positions in the finance industry, including running his own brokerage business, where he has gained experience of structuring large deals across a broad range of industry sectors.
He said: “I’m delighted to be part of such a dynamic new bank and am looking forward to helping develop Aldermore’s presence in London. Last year the invoice finance market grew by 9 percent and there are no signs of any slow-down this year.
“Aldermore is perfectly positioned to capitalise on the opportunities in this expanding market and I’m looking forward to helping them further strengthen their position.”
Ian Clark, Regional Managing Director for London and the South East, said: “I would like to welcome Mark to the Aldermore team. I know that, with his considerable experience, he will be able to make an immediate impact and I would like to wish him all the best for the future.”
