Spring Finance team

Jim Baker, Ginny Warby and Louise Young join Spring Finance

Spring Finance has welcomed ex-Masthaven Bank trio, Jim Baker (pictured above, left), Ginny Warby (right) and Louise Young (centre) to its team.

Jim previously worked at Masthaven for eight years, with his most recent role being head of business development.

He has over 30 years of experience in financial services, with a range of senior client relationship and operational roles at companies including The Mortgage Business and Rooftop Mortgages.

Jim joins Spring as sales director of bridging, and will be responsible for sales and marketing for the bridging side of the business.

He will report to chairman Andrew Bloom, until a new managing director joins the company.

"I'm hugely honoured to be joining the team at Spring and can’t wait to launch our bridging proposition," said Jim.

"Spring has a longstanding reputation for delivering personalised solutions for their customers, while providing a clear and fuss-free service to brokers, an ethos that sits close to my heart.

"While we are a new entrant to the market, our team is built with highly experienced and trusted names in the industry and we will quickly establish ourselves as a key player in this space."

Ginny has taken up the role of bridging BDM for London and the South East, following 15 years of experience in financial services within brokers and lenders.

She joins the specialist lender from Masthaven, where she worked for six years, with her most recent role being BDM.

"I'm thrilled to be working with such an ambitious and experienced team and to get back out seeing my broker friends with a fresh and exciting proposition," she commented.

Louise — who previously worked at Masthaven for over 10 years — has been appointed as senior underwriter of bridging.

She will report to head of bridging, Claire Newman, and will be heavily involved in the launch of the company’s new bridging product.

"I am really excited to be joining Spring and am looking forward to being part of the journey as the company grows," added Louise.

Claire said: “There are further people joining both the bridging team and the wider company over the coming months to support the continued growth plans of the business.

“The pilot launch of the bridging proposition is expected to start in the coming weeks, and we look forward to building on existing broker relationships and forming new ones as the launch progresses.”

In December, Spring Finance exclusively revealed in Bridging & Commercial Magazine that it planned to expand into the bridging and development finance markets.

Before that, former Masthaven CEO, Andrew, purchased the majority shareholding of Spring Finance and made a seven-figure equity investment in the business.
