In the newly created role, he will be responsible for day-to-day oversight on the LTV approach for differing case types, supporting the business in maintaining underwriting criteria, and managing and organising training programmes for staff.
He will also continue to organise and oversee the caseloads of the underwriting team, as well as assist on strategically important larger applications.
Harry joined Aspen in 2017 as an underwriter as part of the lender’s graduate recruitment scheme, after which he was promoted to senior underwriter in August 2018 and then credit manager in December 2019.
Commenting on his appointment, Harry said: “At a lender that embraces complex and time pressured bridging, light development and bridge-to-let cases, as well more standard applications, you find that every day is a learning experience.
“The knowledge and experience I have built up over my time at Aspen will not only help shape our day-to-day workload and product offering going forward, but I also am excited to be helping educate our newer members of staff so they too can fulfil their professional ambitions with this great company.”
