Pluto hires lending director

Pluto Finance has appointed John O’Donnell as a lending director.

He joins the company from Hampshire Trust Bank (HTB), where he was a lending director for seven years.

Prior to this, he worked at Invested for 14 years.

Commenting on his appointment, John said: “I am pleased to have joined Pluto Finance, which has strong institutional backing, including a new partnership with the UK’s largest private pension fund.”

“Pluto has recently dropped its minimum development loan size to £5m, which will allow me to bring its market-leading leverage and pricing to a much wider pool of borrowers.”

Justin Faiz, partner at Pluto Finance, added: “John brings with him exceptional experience in the market, spanning residential development, bridging, asset management and planning projects.

“We are delighted to have appointed two lending directors this month to add to our strong team and look forward to announcing further appointments as we continue our expansion programme, accelerating our development, bridging and investment lending over the next 12 months.”
