Spring Finance pilots bridging offering

Specialist lender Spring Finance has today (29th March) launched its bridging pilot scheme.

A select number of intermediaries will have access to the regulated, unregulated, refurbishment, and first- and second-charge bridging products during the soft launch.

The finance provider aims to roll out the offering to the wider market in Q2 this year.

Earlier this month, ex-Masthaven Bank trio, Jim Baker, Ginny Warby and Louise Young joined Spring Finance’s team as sales director of bridging, bridging BDM for London and the South East, and senior underwriter of bridging, respectively.

The lender will be using the pilot to help shape its ambition to become a significant player in the UK residential specialist lending market.

“The pilot is a key phase in helping us build a proposition that provides an exceptional broker experience,” said Jim.

“With an underwriting team led by the experienced and highly regarded Claire Newman, [head of bridging], this is an exciting and valuable period for us to work and listen closely to our broker partners to help us fine tune ahead of a full market launch.”

Andrew Bloom, owner of Spring Finance, added: “This is a significant day for Spring Finance as we begin the next phase of our planned growth.

“We are building an exceptional team and I am delighted with the progress made in such a short space of time.”

In December, the lender exclusively revealed in Bridging & Commercial Magazine that it planned to expand into the bridging and development finance markets.

Before that, former Masthaven CEO, Andrew, purchased the majority shareholding of Spring Finance and made a seven-figure equity investment in the business.
